Contact Should severe weather conditions set in, John Paul II Academy will follow the directions of the Archdiocesan Superintendent. These notices will be broadcast by various radio stations, i.e., WHAS 840 AM and WAVE 970 AM. Please do not call the radio stations or school. Listen to the radio and television. One of the following announcements will be made:
- All Catholic Elementary and High Schools in Jefferson County are OPEN.
- Catholic Elementary and High Schools in Jefferson County will be OPEN BUT ON A DELAYED SCHEDULE.
- All Catholic Elementary and High Schools in Jefferson County are CLOSED. If we are operating on a DELAYED schedule, John Paul II Academy will operate on a 2 hour delay. School will begin promptly at 9:55. Anyone who arrives after that time is considered tardy and must report to the office to gain admittance to homeroom. Children may begin arriving at 9:25 a.m. There will not be anyone to supervise prior to that time. School will dismiss at the regular time, 2:40 p.m.
